Child Safety Standards Policy

At Pepper, user safety is our highest priority. As a dating application, we enforce strict guidelines to ensure our platform remains a safe, respectful, and legally compliant environment. This Child Safety Standards Policy outlines our unwavering commitment to protecting minors and the standards we enforce to comply with global child safety regulations, including Google Play's Child Safety Standards.

1. Strict Age Requirement (18+)

Pepper is strictly intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services. We do not knowingly permit minors to use our platform. If we become aware that a user is under the age of 18, their account will be immediately and permanently terminated, and their data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

Pepper maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of child exploitation, abuse, or grooming. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Sharing, requesting, or promoting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Engaging in predatory behavior or attempting to groom minors.
• Sexualizing minors in any form of text, image, or video content.

Any account found violating this policy will be banned instantly. We will preserve relevant data and report all instances of CSAM or suspected child exploitation to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.

3. User Safety Standards and Guidelines

To maintain a safe environment, all users are expected to adhere to our community safety standards:

• Report Suspicious Activity: If you encounter an underage user, suspect grooming behavior, or see content that violates our child safety policies, report it immediately using our in-app reporting tools or via the contact information provided below.
• Verify Your Matches: Exercise caution and use good judgment when interacting with others. If someone’s age or intent seems questionable, disengage and report them.
• No Content Featuring Minors: Users are prohibited from uploading profile pictures that feature unattended minors, even if the minor is fully clothed or related to the user.

4. How to Report Violations

We empower our community to help keep Pepper safe. You can report violations of our Child Safety Standards in two ways:

• In-App Reporting: Navigate to the user's profile, tap the options menu (three dots), and select "Report." Choose the appropriate reason (e.g., "Underage User" or "Inappropriate Content").
• Direct Contact: You can email our dedicated Trust & Safety team directly with evidence or concerns.
