Pepper Terms of Service

Welcome to Pepper!

By using the Pepper dating app ("Pepper," "the App," or "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pepper, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Pepper.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Pepper Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Pepper for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload, share, or promote Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post or transmit offensive, harmful, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities.

4. Child Safety Standards and Zero-Tolerance Policy

Pepper Studio and the Pepper - Open Relationships app maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We explicitly prohibit the uploading, sharing, or promotion of any content that exploits, harms, or endangers children.

Any user found violating this policy will have their account permanently terminated immediately, and their information will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Reporting and Contact: If you encounter any content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting mechanism available on user profiles and chat screens, or contact our dedicated Child Safety Point of Contact directly at: safety@thepepperapp.co.

5. Content

• You retain ownership of the content you post on Pepper, but you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

6. Paid Services

• Pepper may offer premium features or subscriptions for a fee.
• You will be charged in accordance with the terms of the applicable subscription or purchase.
• Refunds may be available under certain circumstances, as outlined in our refund policy.

7. Disclaimer

Pepper is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepper Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pepper Studio and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes, and your continued use of Pepper after the changes constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason. You may also delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
